Сьогодні день, коли світ починає наближати справедливий мир.
Я дякую кожному, хто працював заради цього дня, – кожному лідеру, усім командам та радникам, усім державам. Зараз на Саміті – сто одна держава та міжнародна організація, і це колосальний успіх, успіх наш із вами, спільний успіх усіх, хто вважає, що об’єднаний світ, об’єднані нації сильніші, ніж будь-який агресор.
Шановні лідери та представники держав і міжнародних організацій! Кожен, хто тут сьогодні заради чесного миру!
Я радий вітати всіх на першому Саміті миру, який може стати першим кроком до справедливого закінчення війни Росії проти України. І коли ми її закінчимо справедливо й чесно для України – на основі міжнародного права, – тоді кожна нація у світі точно зможе розраховувати щодо її прав на таку ж справедливість і чесність, на таку ж дієвість Статуту ООН. І тоді знову матимуть повну силу слова: «Ми – народи Об’єднаних Націй – сповнені рішучості позбавити прийдешні покоління нещасть війни, яка двічі в нашому житті принесла людству невимовне горе, і знову утвердити віру в основні права людини, у гідність і цінність людської особистості, у рівноправність чоловіків і жінок і – так важливо! – у рівність прав більших і малих націй та створити умови, за яких можуть дотримуватися справедливість і повага до зобов’язань, що випливають із договорів та інших джерел міжнародного права…» Це перші слова зі Статуту ООН, але саме такими словами можна описати і сенс Формули миру, яка стала основою Саміту миру та спонукала всі частини світу та різні нації – з рівною повагою – узяти участь у нашій спільній роботі – у Саміті миру. Наша з вами єдність тут доводить, що сама ідея міжнародного права залишається живою та дієвою. Ваша присутність тут доводить, що Статут ООН та базові конвенції – це не формальність, а реальні основи співжиття народів. Наші принципи чіткі. Ніхто не має права йти агресивною війною проти сусіда та підривати один із базових принципів Статуту ООН – територіальну цілісність держав. Ніхто не має права погрожувати світу ядерною зброєю. Ніхто не має права підривати продовольчу, енергетичну чи будь-яку іншу безпеку світу та його регіонів. Ніхто не має права викрадати дітей іншого народу. Ніхто не має права підривати мир. Ми здатні забезпечити дієвість таких принципів – це глобально важливі принципи.
Я вдячний вам, шановні лідери та представники держав і міжнародних організацій, що ми доводимо: світ може більше не впасти в тотальну війну. У війну, яку, на жаль, принесла Росія нам, в Україну, у наші домівки, в українські міста й села, і сотні, сотні з них, на жаль, повністю спалені російськими бомбами, артилерією та ракетами. Путін забрав життя тисяч наших людей. Для чого? Бо він просто хоче захопити сусідню країну. Я нікому не бажаю подібного. Я щиро хочу, щоб усі ви, усі народи світу, кожна дитина, кожна сім’я могли просто жити без війни. І я хочу цього для всіх українців. Україна має право на мир. Так само, як і всі ви.
Пані та панове!
Ми маємо зупинити цю війну. На основі Статуту ООН, поваги до міжнародного права, справедливих інтересів українського народу, ідеї про безперечну цінність людського життя – життя, а не війни.
Зараз ми зосередимося на трьох напрямках: на тому, що кожному у світі – без винятків – корисно. Перший напрямок – це радіаційна та ядерна безпека. Другий – безпека продовольча. Третій – це звільнення полонених і депортованих, дорослих і дітей, військових і цивільних, чиє життя було зламане війною.
Ми зосередимось на цих початкових пунктах Формули миру, і в процесі роботи над ними можемо дійти згоди та створити план дій щодо кожного пункту Формули миру.
Відповідно, цей інавгураційний Саміт миру – це три панелі, на яких кожна країна-учасниця може проявити своє лідерство. Формула миру є інклюзивною, і ми раді почути та опрацювати всі пропозиції, всі ідеї – те, що справді потрібно для миру і що для вас, дорогі друзі, є важливим. Закликаю всіх вас бути максимально активними. Я пишаюся тим, що на Саміті миру представлені зараз усі частини світу – усі континенти. Нам вдалося уникнути однієї з найстрашніших речей, а саме – поділу світу на протилежні табори. Тут представники країн Латинської Америки, Африки, Європи, Близького Сходу та Азії, Тихоокеанського регіону, Північної Америки та релігійних лідерів. Сто один учасник! І ніхто не має привілею вирішувати за іншого. Це справжня багатополярність, коли кожен політичний полюс Землі отримує своє представництво і має свій вплив при розв’язанні глобально важливої справи.
Ні в кого не викликає сумнівів те, що світова більшість прагне гарантувати всі аспекти безпеки, зокрема ядерну та продовольчу. Світова більшість точно підтримує принцип територіальної цілісності держав, суверенітету націй та рівноправності у відносинах між народами. Світова більшість прагне жити без кривавих криз, депортацій та екоцидів. І тому кожна нація, яка не представлена зараз і яка на словах та на ділі поділяє такі самі цінності Статуту ООН, зможе приєднатися до нашої роботи на наступних етапах. Формула миру спонукає всі сили світу думати про закінчення війни та пропонувати, як її закінчити, а отже, сама ідея війни вже програла. Путін повинен переключитися з мови ультиматумів на мову світової більшості, яка прагне чесного миру.
Шановні лідери та представники держав!
Що конкретно може дати цей Саміт?
Перше – довести, що повернення безпеки справді можливе. Кроки ми опрацюємо з вами.
Друге – дати реальний план для того, щоб кожен крок заради миру спрацював. Від ядерної та продовольчої безпеки, від звільнення полонених і депортованих до повного закінчення війни без загрози її нового розпалення. Я вірю, що це можливо.
Третє – не треба вигадувати велосипед, коли Статут ООН уже визначає основи миру та нормального співжиття народів. Тож ми маємо просто до них повернутись. І заради цього нам потрібно визначитись із тим, як країни співпрацюватимуть та які будуть співлідерами, щоб зафіксувати й виконати план дій.
Це абсолютно зрозумілі й досяжні цілі.
Зараз тут немає Росії. Чому? Бо якби Росія була зацікавлена в мирі, то не було б цієї війни. Ми повинні разом визначитися, що означає для світу справедливий мир і як його можна досягти справді довготривало. Статут ООН є основою для нас. А потім, коли план дій буде вже на столі, усіма погоджений і зрозумілий для всіх народів, він буде озвучений і представникам Росії. І щоб на другому Саміті миру ми змогли зафіксувати реальне закінчення війни. Зараз же ми починаємо цей шлях. Маємо довести всі разом, що об’єднаний світ – це світ миру, це світ, який уміє діяти правильно.
Дякую вам за увагу! Дякую за участь у Саміті! Та сподіваюся на плідну роботу разом. Звісно, разом. Мир потрібен нам усім.

Madam President, thank you. Thank you for all your efforts to organise the Summit and bring about a just peace. Ladies and gentlemen!
Today is the day when the world begins to bring a just peace closer.
I thank everyone who has worked for this day - every leader, all the teams and advisers, all the states. One hundred and one states and international organisations are now at the Summit, and this is a tremendous success, a success for us, a common success for all those who believe that a united world, united nations are stronger than any aggressor.
Dear leaders and representatives of states and international organisations! Everyone who is here today for the sake of honest peace!
I am pleased to welcome everyone to the first Peace Summit, which can be the first step towards a just end to Russia's war against Ukraine. And when we end it justly and fairly for Ukraine - on the basis of international law - then every nation in the world will definitely be able to count on the same justice and fairness, on the same effectiveness of the UN Charter. And then the words will once again have full force: "We, the peoples of the United Nations, are determined to spare succeeding generations the misery of war, which has twice in our lifetime brought untold sorrow to mankind, and to reaffirm faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person, in the equality of men and women and - so importantly - in the equal rights of nations large and small, and to create conditions under which justice and respect for the obligations arising from treaties and other sources of international law may be maintained..." These are the first words of the UN Charter, but they are also the words that describe the meaning of the Peace Formula, which became the basis of the Peace Summit and encouraged all parts of the world and different nations - with equal respect - to participate in our common work - the Peace Summit. Our unity here proves that the very idea of international law remains alive and well. Your presence here proves that the UN Charter and the basic conventions are not a formality, but the real foundations of coexistence among nations. Our principles are clear. No one has the right to wage an aggressive war against a neighbour and undermine one of the basic principles of the UN Charter - the territorial integrity of states. No one has the right to threaten the world with nuclear weapons. No one has the right to undermine the food, energy or any other security of the world and its regions. No one has the right to abduct the children of another nation. No one has the right to undermine peace. We are able to ensure the effectiveness of such principles - these are globally important principles.
I am grateful to you, dear leaders and representatives of states and international organisations, that we are proving that the world does not have to fall into total war. The war that, unfortunately, Russia has brought to us, to Ukraine, to our homes, to Ukrainian towns and villages, and hundreds and hundreds of them, unfortunately, have been completely burnt by Russian bombs, artillery and missiles. Putin has taken the lives of thousands of our people. Why? Because he just wants to take over a neighbouring country. I do not wish this to anyone. I sincerely wish that all of you, all the nations of the world, every child, every family could simply live without war. And I want this for all Ukrainians. Ukraine has the right to peace. Just like all of you.
Ladies and gentlemen!
We have to stop this war. On the basis of the UN Charter, respect for international law, the just interests of the Ukrainian people, and the idea of the undeniable value of human life - life, not war.
We will now focus on three areas: on what is useful to everyone in the world - without exception. The first area is radiation and nuclear safety. The second is food security. The third is the release of prisoners and deportees, adults and children, military and civilians whose lives have been broken by war.
We will focus on these initial points of the Peace Formula, and in the process of working on them, we can reach agreement and create an action plan for each point of the Peace Formula.
Accordingly, this inaugural Peace Summit has three panels in which each participating country can show its leadership. The Formula for Peace is inclusive, and we are happy to hear and work on all proposals, all ideas - what is really needed for peace and what is important to you, dear friends. I urge all of you to be as active as possible. I am proud that all parts of the world - all continents - are represented at the Peace Summit. We have managed to avoid one of the most terrible things, namely the division of the world into opposing camps. We have representatives from Latin America, Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, the Pacific, North America, and religious leaders. One hundred and one participants! And no one has the privilege of deciding for the other. This is a true multipolarity, when each political pole of the Earth is represented and has its own influence in solving a globally important issue.
No one doubts that the global majority wants to guarantee all aspects of security, including nuclear and food security. The world majority clearly supports the principle of the territorial integrity of states, the sovereignty of nations and equality among nations. The world majority wants to live without bloody crises, deportations and ecocides. That is why every nation that is not represented now and that shares the same values of the UN Charter in word and deed will be able to join our work in the next stages. The peace formula encourages all the forces of the world to think about ending the war and to propose how to end it, which means that the idea of war has already lost. Putin should switch from the language of ultimatums to the language of the world majority, which wants a fair peace.
Dear leaders and representatives of states!
What exactly can this summit achieve?
Firstly, to prove that the return of security is indeed possible. We will work out the steps with you.
The second is to provide a real plan to make every step for peace work. From nuclear and food security, from the release of prisoners and deportees to the complete end of the war without the threat of its reignition. I believe it is possible.
Thirdly, there is no need to reinvent the wheel when the UN Charter already defines the foundations of peace and normal coexistence of peoples. So we just have to return to them. And to do this, we need to decide how countries will cooperate and who will be the co-leaders to fix and implement the action plan.
These are absolutely clear and achievable goals.
Russia is not here today. Why? Because if Russia was interested in peace, there would be no war. We must work together to define what a just peace means for the world and how it can be achieved in a truly lasting way. The UN Charter is the basis for us. And then, when the action plan is on the table, agreed upon by all and understood by all nations, it will be presented to the representatives of Russia. And so that at the second Peace Summit we can record the real end of the war. We are now starting this journey. Together, we must prove that the united world is a world of peace, a world that knows how to act correctly.
Thank you for your attention! Thank you for participating in the Summit! And I look forward to working together. Of course, together. We all need peace.
